La Grange DES Pèlerins

Are you on your way to Compostella and want to spend the night in a unique location, then 'La Grange des Pèlerins'  at La Bessayrie is the perfect place !

Bessayrie lies in the middle of nowhere on the 'Via Podiensis' (GR65) just before Noailhac, the first village after picturesque Conques. The GR65 (Grande Randonnée) starts in Le Puy-en-Velay and ends after 754 km in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port. It is sometimes said that this pilgrim trail is one of the most beautiful ... .

When you walk into Bessayrie, you walk into a magical place.  You are surrounded by unspoiled nature and a breathtaking view of Conques. The tranquility here overwhelms you. So take off your backpack, lace up those hiking boots, settle down and behold!

La Grange is an authentic barn situated on a ridge right next to the forest. The barn has a cozy sitting area with fireplace and sleeps up to 8 people. The bathroom - with 2 separate showers and 2 toilets - is located in the basement and for the 'diehards' there is the outdoor shower with a view! To complete the picture, we provide an all-in formula (dinner, bed & breakfast) exclusively for the Compostella hiker.

Bessayrie is a 10-minute walk from the Via Podiensis. But no panic, if your legs are tired and you don't want to face that last slope anymore, we can pick you up for free at the GR65 in Noailhac or even at the 'Pont Romain' in Conques.  Just dare to ask!
